When pulling out the cover, do not damage
the surfaces indicated
(with arrows)
in any
way.
The two surfaces form a spark ignition
resistant gap.
11. Loosen and remove the three
generator fl ange screws.
12. Clamp cover with printed
circuit board in a bench vice
as shown.
13. Unsolder the three generator
cables from the printed
circuit board.
10. Pull out cover with extreme
caution, taking care not to
tilt it. (Turning slightly at
the same time is the easiest
approach.)
