Operation
• Use the power switch to turn on the light.
• To use the pistol grip, twist the pistol grip into position while pushing in
the handle rotation lock.
Charging the Battery
• The internal battery will need to be initially charged for approximately 2
hours before first use.
• To charge using the 110V AC power adapter, plug the adapter into a
standard compatible wall socket. Attach the other end to the power
input socket of the spotlight.
• To charge using the DC adapter, insert the cigarette plug into the car’s
cigarette lighter socket. Attach the other end to the power input socket of
the spotlight.
• Only recharge the battery with the included adapters.
• Avoid charging the battery at temperatures below 4 ºC or above 40 ºC.
• The spotlight should be kept fully charged when not in use. If the
spotlight is to be stored away then it should be recharged every 6–8
weeks. Always ensure the power switch is in the OFF position when not
in use.
• If the charge is very low the battery will take approximately 6–8 hours
to reach maximum capacity when using the supplied adapter. However,
a 4 hour charge will provide a usable amount of charge.
• It is advisable to recharge the spotlight after each use.
• The battery does not need to be fully depleted before recharging.
• The lifespan of the battery is dependent on how well it is treated; the
more it is used the longer it should last. It is not possible to predict how
long the battery will last, but approximately 40 charge and discharge
cycles should be expected from a well maintained battery.
