Displaying maximum, minimum and average temperatures

Press the
button briefly to calculate and display the maximum (MAX), minimum
(MIN) or average temperature (AVG).
Note the following diagrams for this:

Press and hold the
button to display the current readings.
If the automatic switch-off is activated, the reading on the display will be saved and shown
again when the device is switched on again.

Holding current readings

Press the
button to hold the current reading shown on the display.

The temperature display is not updated, even if the measurement shows a value that
is different to the one that is on hold.
➤
Press the
button again to deactivate the function.

Offsetting readings
You can set a measured reading to 0° and use it as a new zero point.
Press the
button to activate the function.
Example:

The display shows 25°.
➤
Press the
button.
✓
The display shows 0°.
✓
If the next temperature reading measures 30 °C then the display will show 5 °C.

Press the
button to deactivate the function.

When this function is active, all the buttons except
