Maintenance work
Carry out preparation work:
1. Place the machine on a level surface.
2. Decommissioning the machine.
3. Let the machine cool.
10.3.1
Clean the machine
Clean the ventilation slots with an appropriate, non-metallic auxiliary tool.
Wipe down the housing with a damp clean cloth.
After cleaning, check the cable, utility lines and hardware for loose connections, chafe marks and
other damage.
Immediately eliminate detected deficiencies.

Cleaning the machine:
Ventilation slots.
Cooling fins of the engine.
Air filter.
Visual check for completeness.
Visual check for damage.
Check the fuel:
Fill level of the fuel tank.
Check the fuel tank for leaks.
Check the utility lines for leaks.
Check the function of the gas throttle lever, fuel cock and
carburetor.
Check the screwed connection.
Clean the recoil starter.

Clean the engine silencer and exhaust slots.

Grease the ramming system.
50 h
Replace fuel filter.*
Replace air filter.*
Clean the spark plug. Replace if necessary.*
