4.6 Proper Compaction
1. Guide rammer with its handle. Allow machine to pull itself forward. DO NOT
try to over-power the machine.
2. For best compaction, the shoe must hit the ground flat (b), not on its toe or
heel. This will save on excessive shoe wear.
4.7 After operation
Short-term interruptions of compaction work
Press stop button.
Finishing of compaction work
Close fuel cock. Allow engine to run until fuel in carburettor is used up.
Longer operational pauses
Clean rammer. Add corrosion preventative to fuel mixture and allow engine to
run for 5 minutes. Oil parts susceptible to rust.
