If faults occur on this machine which are not described in these oper-
ating instructions, contact the manufacturer.

Do not rectify faults on your own.

Possible cause
Remedy
The engine cannot be started.
Engine switch off.
Engine switch on.
Throttle lever in stop or idle position. Throttle lever on.
Fuel cock is closed.
Open the fuel cock.
Not enough fuel.
Refill with fuel. Check fuel filter and
fuel lines.
Incorrect valve clearance.
Check valve clearance, have it ad-
justed if necessary.*
Valves worn.
Have the machine repaired.*
Cylinder and/or piston ring worn.
Spark plugs worn.
Engine oil level too low.
Add engine oil.
No vibration when the engine is run-
ning.
V-belt worn.
Change V-belt.
Clutch linings worn out.
Have the clutch linings replaced.*
