It is easiest to install or replace the cutting wire with the saw 
on a workbench. 

1.

Stand the saw on its mounting baseplate on the bench. 
Position it with the arms over the end of the bench, so 
that you can open the idler wheel covers.

2.

Open all the covers to access the drive wheel and wire 
channels.

3.

Move the arms to the storage position. (See “Arm 

Assemblies” on page 27.)
