22. Collet chuck (optional)
22.3 Installation and removal of collets
Installation
1. Place the collet on a flat surface.
2. Place the tensioning nut on the collet
3. Press the tensioning nut down against the collet until it "clicks".
4. The collet can now move freely in the central take-up shoulder and does not fall out when the collet
is turned upside down.
Removal
1. Hold the tensioning nut in one hand
2. Press up against the collet.
3. The lateral pressure on the collet pushes this out of the take-up shoulder of the tensioning nut and
it can now be removed from the nut.
