9.1.2 How to sew a cover seam in case of raised
cross/side seams
Preparation of the cross/side seam:
•
Always iron or tack an raised cross seam or side seam flat
•
The seams must lie correctly and neatly on one side. Use an iron!
•
Do not set the stitch length of the cover to under 3 – 3.5, depending on the
type of fabric
•
Slowly and gently sew in the direction of the raised cross/side seam by
means of the foot controller
•
Slowly and gently lead the cover over the upstanding cross/side seam with
your index fingers

9.1.3 Needle information
This cover uses industrial flat shank needles.
In this way, the needles cannot be inserted in the wrong direction. Do not
attempt to insert standard sewing machine needles of any kind and quality into
this cover.
Only use W6 needles ELX705
of size 80 or W6 needles ELX705 of size 90 for
thicker fabrics as included in the scope of delivery of the cover.
Attention: Incorrect use of needles does not constitute grounds for a warranty
claim.
