Safety cut out

This heater is fitted with a safety over heat cut out. 

If the heater will not work the over heat cut out may have operated. To reset 
it, disconnect the heater from the electricity supply, undo the 4 screws in the 
lid  and  remove  it.  Press  the  reset  button  (in  front  of  the  8  way  terminal 
block)  and  refit  the  lid.  Reconnect  the  heater  to  the  electricity  supply  and 
confirm it is working correctly.

THE SAFETY CUT OUT SHOULD ONLY BE RESET BY A COMPETENT PERSON.

Electrical Connection

The VBX30 is fitted with a 400V 5 pin (3P+N+E) 63A plug conforming to BS 
EN60309.  If  required  this  plug  may  be  replaced  with  a  400V  4  pin  (3P+E) 
63A plug.

THE  PLUG SHOULD ONLY  BE REPLACED BY  A  COMPETENT  PERSON,  UPON 
COMPLETION  EARTH  CONTINUITY  AND  INSULATION  RESISTANCE  TESTS 
SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT. 

WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.

Operation

The VBX30 has 4 power steps: Off- 10Kw – 20 Kw or 30Kw set by the right 
hand knob.

The required temperature is set between 5-40

º

C by the left hand knob.

The rocker switch on the right hand side of the heater controls the fan 
speed and air flow, either 1900 or 2600 m

³

/h.

Maintenance

The VBX30 does not require regular maintenance, but we recommend the 
fan and elements are regularly checked and cleaned if a heavy build up of 
dust or dirt is observed.

Electrical safety testing

Your heater should be regularly tested for electrical safety. The duration 
between tests will depend on the type of use and environment. DO NOT 
FLASH (HIPOT) TEST THIS HEATER.
