
Reading EDID from Specific Outputs
To read EDID from output 1:
1. Ensure that the output display is powered on and
connected to splitter's output 1.
2. Locate the EDID DIP switch (outlined in the figure above)
3. Move the switch to the position 0. Repower the splitter for
the changes to take effect.
Note:
If no output device has been connected to the unit, it uses
the factory default resolution (1080p, stereo)
You can read EDID from output 2, 3 and 4, corresponding
to the F, E and D position, using the same method above.
Using the Fixed EDID
To directly use the fixed EDID:
1. Locate the EDID DIP switch (outlined in the figure above).
2. Ensure that the display device supports the EDID resolution,
otherwise no picture shows. Toggle the switch to a position
from 1~C (see the table above for detailed EDID
information).
3. Repower the splitter for the changes to take effect no matter
whether an output device is connected.
