Setting up the telephone

2.4

Installing and charging the battery pack

1. Slide off the battery compartment cover to remove it.
2. Place the supplied battery pack as indicated. Respect polarity.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover back.
4. Put the handset on the base and charge for 16 hours first time. A beep indicates that the handset is properly placed on the base or charger.

Notes:
1. Use only the power adapter provided for the base station.
2. Use only NiMH rechargeable battery pack.
3. If the handset will not be used for a long time, disconnect and remove the battery pack to prevent possible leakage.
