Problem
Suggestion
The battery does not
charge n the handset
or the handset battery
does not accept
charge.
Make sure the handset s placed n the telephone base correctly.
Remove the battery from the handset and then re-nstall t n the handset. Put the handset
back to the telephone base and charge for 16 hours.
It may be necessary to purchase a new battery. Please see the
Battery
secton of ths user’s
manual (page 31).
The telephone mght be malfunctonng. Please see the
Warranty
secton of ths user’s manual
(page 43) for further nstructon.

There s no dal tone.
Frst, try all the above suggestons.
Move the handset closer to the telephone base. It mght be out of range.
The telephone lne cord mght be malfunctonng. Try nstallng a new telephone lne cord.
Dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone jack and connect a dfferent telephone. If
there s no dal tone on the other telephone ether, the problem s n your wrng or local servce.
