4.2 Button lock /
lockout function in private locations
-
The button lock can be used to protect the motor con-
troller against inadvertent/erroneous inputs via the
hand switch. Both locking and unlocking are performed
as follows:
-
Press and hold down the M button for 10 secs.
-
If the button lock was activated, it is now deactivated.
-
If the button lock was deactivated, it is now activated.
Important!
The button lock is only possible with the
Memory hand switch.
-
If a movement button ( / or M Memory) is pressed
while the system is locked, the travel command is can-
celled with a double tone and not executed. A65 appears
in the display.
Important!
When the button lock is activated, it re-
mains activated even if the controller’s power supply
cable is disconnected from the mains supply and recon-
nected at any later stage.
4.3 Functions
-
Soft start / soft stop
The drives are briefly operated at reduced power after
starting and before stopping.
-
Safety range
For safety reasons the table controller is provided at
the factory with two lower end positions (see Chapter
5) (safety range). When the table is operated normally,
an initial lower end position is approached before the
lowest position. Only by pressing the button again is it
possible to move the table at reduced speed to the
lowest position.
-
ON time limitation
The electronic circuitry monitors how long the drives
are operated for. If the maximum permissible time is
exceeded, the electronic circuitry does not permit fur-
ther movement by the drives for the next 18 minutes.
In the event of a travel command the status code AC9
is indicated in the display for this period of time. This
protects the power pack, the controller and the drives
against overloading (see Chapter 5).
Caution!
In the event of the table hitting an obstruction,
the possibility of the obstruction incurring damage
cannot be ruled out because the table is travelling at
nominal speed!
-
When the table moves up and down the centre tube of
the table legs may extend differently. This is merely a
purely optical irregularity.
4.4 The table does not move
-
Wait to see if the maximum ON time (see Chapter 5)
has been exceeded and the ON time limitation has
thereby been activated.
-
Check whether all the cables are correctly connected
(or whether there is an actual supply of electricity).
-
Make sure that the load (see Chapter 5) on the table is
not too high.
-
Make sure that there are no obstructions blocking the
travel route.
