How to use your Style Straightener:
Using on dry hair:

•Removeallpackagingandpointofsalelabelsbeforeuse.
•Washandconditionyourhairasusual.Ensurethathairisdry,combed

through and tangle-free.

•Aplasticcoverhasbeenplacedovertheplugtoprotectitfromdamage.

Removetheplasticcoverbeforeinsertingintopoweroutlet.

•Plugtheapplianceintoasuitablepoweroutletandpresstheon/offbutton.
•Selectthedesiredtemperatureusingthetempor-temperature

buttons. Please see ‘How to use the variable temperatures’ for more 
information. 

•Toturnapplianceoff,presstheon/offbuttonagain.Unplugtheappliance

from the power outlet and allow to cool completely before storing.

Using on damp hair:

•Washandtoweldryyourhairthencombthrough,ensuringitistangle-free.
•Whentheapplianceisusedondamphair,theexcesswaterfromthehair

is forced through the channel system, where it can escape as steam. This 
steam evaporates through the vents in the housing, while the hair’s natural 
moisture is sealed in the hair cuticle.

•Nowfollowtheinstructionsunder‘Usingondryhair’.

NB: 

You may hear a hissing sound and see steam; this is normal, it is the 

excess water from your hair evaporating as it dries.

This appliance has an automatic safety cut off system which will 

automaticallyturntheapplianceoffifleftonaccidentlyfor72minutesat
50Hz,60minutesat60Hz.Ifthisoccurs,pleasewaitforappliancetocool.
Switch the appliance off and unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord in 
and switch the appliance on.  

What is Ceramic Technology? 

CeramicTechnology™helpstotameflyawaysandfrizziesbypreventing
heat damage and spreading heat evenly and consistently. Hair damage is 
minimised as heat is distributed evenly from the styling appliance to avoid 
harmful hot spots.

How to use the variable temperature settings
IMPORTANT:

 Hair that has been heavily bleached or chemically treated 

should only use the low heat settings on this product. Please consult your 
hairdresser on using heated appliances if you have any concerns about the 
condition of your hair. 
The  variable temperature settings control provide variable heat for many 
differenthairtypes.Thesesettingsallowyoutochoosetherequired
temperature setting according to your particular need and hair type. 

NB:

 The heat-up time will vary depending on which temperature setting you 

select.Itissuggestedtousethelowerheatsettingswhenusingtheappliance
forthefirsttime

**WARNING:

 This appliance is suitable for average use on the medium high 

heatsettingof190˚C.The210˚Cand230˚Cmaximumhighheatsettingsare
not suitable for hair that has been chemically treated, bleached or damaged.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON HEAT DAMAGED OR CHEMICALLY 
TREATED HAIR ON THE HIGHER HEAT SETTINGS
