THE ATTACHMENTS
Concentrator
Concentrator nozzles are designed to direct the airflow from your hair dryer
to just where you want it, to ease styling and straightening. Nozzles also help
you to direct the airflow along the length of the hair from roots to ends. This
is important because it helps to smooth the outer surface or cuticle of the hair
giving your hair style a smoother finish. For additional control try using one of
the lower speed settings with a higher heat.
Care should be taken not to direct the air flow directly onto the skin (e.g. the
scalp, neck, ears and face). Never rest the concentrator nozzle on the hair and
brush to hold it in place! You should always leave a 2cm to 3cm gap between the
end of the nozzle and the hair around the brush.
Diffuser
The volumising diffuser attachment is designed to build life and volume into
short to medium length hair, for drying any length of naturally curly hair and for
scrunch drying to build and enhance curl in wavy and loose curly hair.
The diffuser works by softening the air flow from the hairdryer and should always
be used on the lowest speed and heat setting to enable it to operate at its most
efficient. Cup the weight of your hair into the bowl of the diffuser and cup the
edges of the diffuser with your free hand to prevent your hair blowing around.
IONIC CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY
Many aspects of modern living, including air conditioning, contact with man-
made fibers and air pollution add to the build-up of static electricity in your hair.
Even simply brushing and towel-drying your hair can increase these levels. This
static charge causes the scales, or cuticles of the hair, to push hair strands apart,
resulting in a rough hair surface.
Consequently, your hair may have a dull appearance. High levels of static charge
cause your hair to become ‘flyaway’ and difficult to style. The advanced internal
ionic generator conditions hair by emitting negative ions to reduce static, leaving
your hair silky and shiny with reduced frizz.
CERAMIC TOURMALINE TECHNOLOGY
Ceramic Tourmaline Technology will help keep your hair healthy and shiny
looking. It generates full spectrum, infrared heat which works on hair molecules
to dry them inside & out. It minimises heat damage and makes hair less frizzy
and more manageable.
Ceramic Tourmaline properties also help to reduce your hairs’ static electricity
by generating negatively charged ions, closing the hair cuticle & minimising
static electricity. Results are smooth, shiny hair with reduced frizzies & flyways.
USER MAINTENANCE
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the dryer to overheat. The rear filter
should be checked and cleaned on a regular basis. To help maintain optimum
performance and prevent overheating of your hairdryer:
• Ensure that your styler is switched off, unplugged from the power outlet and
has cooled down.
• Holding the handle of your styler firmly, twist and pull the rear filter down to
remove.
• Using a soft brush, clean any hair and other debris that may build up in the
filter.
• Replace the rear filter by twisting and pushing back into position.
If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will shut the dryer or the heat
off to prevent damage or personal injury. If the dryer or heat turns off, unplug the
cord and allow the dryer to cool for 15 minutes before restarting.
Make sure the air vents are 100% clean.
