This section explains how to choose a specific (or automatically scan an open one) C.O. Line in a multi-phone system.
This is required because the intercom feature works by relaying the signal through a Base Unit. This system does not
work like an RF radio, which transmits directly from one handset to another handset. This section explains how to access
a free CO Line but it does not explain how to make the actual intercom call. See the
Intercom
section in
THE
ADVANCED OPERATION & FEATURES
in this manual for instructions on making the intercom call.
Choose A Specific C.O. Line
You can choose a specific C.O. Line number to make a call by:

Automatically Scan For An Open C.O. Line
You can choose to have the phone system scan for an open C.O. Line by:
