CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the appliance and remove the detachable blending rod.
Note : Do not immerse the detachable blending rod in water because the lubrication
on the bearings may be washed away.
2. Wash the detachable blending rod under running water, do not use abrasive
cleaner or detergents. After finishing cleaning the detachable blending rod, place it
upright so that any water which may have got in can be drained out. Do not put the
blending rod into dishwasher for cleaning.
3. Wash the whisk with warm soapy water. Do not immerse the whisk in water and the
dishwasher for cleaning as the plastic part may be damaged.
4 Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning as an
electric shock may occur.
5. Dry thoroughly.
Caution: Blades are very sharp, handle with care.
Quick cleaning
Before processing food, hold the hand-held blender in the cup half filled with water
and turn on for a few seconds.
