TIPS FOR BRUSH-SUCTION
We generally recommend using the power performance level auto. The other
power performance levels are specially intended for specific types of carpet.

• Use the power performance level max for carpeted floors with excessive
amounts of fine dust.
• Floor detection should always be activated when using the Automatic Electric
Brush.
• Set the correct power performance level according to “Table 3.1 Settings for
the floor types”.
• If you want to brush-suction a delicate floor even more gently, activate hard
floor mode with the function key before even moving onto the surface.
• Switch back to hard floor mode again each time after switching on the Upright
Vacuum Cleaner, because hard floor mode is deactivated automatically when the
Upright Vacuum Cleaner is switched off.
