BASIC ADJUSTMENTS
Adjusting Leg Angles
Each of the four tripod leg sections can be adjusted out to
85°, 55°, or 25°.
To adjust the angle of the legs:
1. Pull the Leg Angle Pivot Lock out and adjust the leg to
the desired angle.
2. Push the Leg Angle Pivot Lock back in and pull the leg
out to the nearest angle stop.
Adjusting Leg Section Length
Each of the four tripod leg sections can be extended to
adjust the tripod’s height.
To adjust the length of a leg section:
1. Twist the Leg Lock clockwise (when viewing from top)
to loosen the tension.
2. Slide the leg section out to the desired length and twist
the Leg Lock counter-clockwise (when viewing from top)
to lock in place.
Installing Spike Feet
The Radian
™
Carbon comes with spike feet that can be
installed for use in sandy conditions or very soft ground.
To install the spike feet:
• Remove the rubber feet from the bottom of the tripod
legs, and replace them with the spike feet.
Twist Leg Lock
to loosen
or tighten.
Spiked
feet can be
installed if
needed.
