Before loading the tacker, make sure to
remove the battery form the machine.
Only load fasteners of the same type and
length. Do not load staples and nails at the
same time. Do not mix fasteners of varying
lengths.
4. OPERATION
Using the work light (Fig. A)
• Press the LED work light switch (8) to turn on
the work light (4).
• The work light will be activated for 10 seconds
and helps to improve visibility of the working
area.
Belt hook
The machine is equipped with a belt hook (10) for
hanging the machine to your belt during use.
• When delivered, the belt hook (10) is assembled
to the machine.
• It can easily be removed by removing the screw
on the hook and taking it off.
Adjusting impact power (Fig. A)
• Increase impact: rotate the adjustment knob
(11) clockwise.
• Reduce impact: rotate the adjustment knob
(11) anti-clockwise.
Driving staples/nails (Fig. A)
• Place the safety tip (9) flat on the material to
be fastened at the spot where the staple or nail
should be located.
• Hold the front and rear part of the machine and
press the machine firmly against the material.
• Pull the trigger (5) to drive the staple/nail, then
release your finger from the trigger before
lifting the safety tip (9) from the material.
• If the staple/nail is driven too deep or too
shallow, adjust the impact power.
Warning! The safety of the machine will be
lifted when pressure is applied to the safety
tip (9) on the bottom of the machine.
Always make sure the tacker mouth is in
direct contact with the material when
pressing the trigger.
The tool may rebound and produce a loud
sound because of the impact it operates
with. Keep this in mind. For long nails and
staples this may cause incorrect stapling or
nailing. Adjust the impact power accordingly
and apply backpressure to the machine to
prevent incorrect stapling or nailing.
5. MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live when
carrying out maintenance work on the motor.
This machine has been designed to operate over
a long period of time with a minimum of mainte-
nance. Continued satisfactory operation depends
upon proper machine care and regular cleaning.
Malfunction
In case a staple or nail is jammed in the tool, follow
the procedure below:
• Remove the battery from the machine.
• Place the tool down on its side.
• Press the cartridge shaft release lever (7), pull
the cartridge shaft (6) backward and unload the
staples or nails strip.
• Remove the clogged staple/nail from the car-
tridge.
• Reload the staples/nails and push the cartridge
shaft back in place until it clicks.
• Insert the battery into the machine.
• Test the machine on a piece of scrap.
Operating tips:
•
WARNING! Nails or staples must be driven
straight into the material. Do not tilt the machine
during operation.
• Do not operate the machine without staples or
nails. This will shorten the service life of the
machine.
• Should nails or staples jam frequently, have ma-
chine serviced by an authorized service centre.
• If the head of the nails or staples remains above
the workpiece surface, press the machine head
firmly against the workpiece and try again.
If there is no improvement in the rework, the
chosen material may not be suitable for the tool
or the impact power may need adjusting.
