INTRODUCTION
Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to
minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.
Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available
before starting installation.
Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form
of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated
steps.
In the event of any problems with the instructions or the
accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.
Note!
Be aware of the changed height and driving characteristics of
the car with load carriers and box. Always secure loads.
Check that the box is properly locked and the key removed
before traveling. The total roof load capacity of the car must
not be exceeded. See the car instruction book. Highest
permitted load = load carrier box load
weight. For safety the car should not be driven at top speed.
The speed should be adjusted to the load transported and of
course to appropriate speed limits.Remember the following
with the box mounted:- The increased height of the car. -
Wind noise may occur.These installation instructions should
be stored with the car handbook. Damage to the car and
surroundings may occur if the instructions are not followed.

Opening the roof box
Unlock and turn the handle downwards to open the roof box.
Closing the roof box
Press the cover down completely and turn the handle to the
upper position. Press the handle inwards and lock.
