Use a weatherstrip tool and pry up one corner of the sill trim
panel so that the two clips on the short side release.
Pull up the sill trim panel so the remaining six clips release.
Remove the panel.
Detach the rubber strip where it covers the left and right-hand
side panel in the tailgate opening.

Remove the rubber strip at the left and right-hand D-post panel.
Disconnect the right side panel at the rear edge to expose the D-
post panel's lower end.
