gases emitted by the batteries, the batteries should
always be mounted in approved marine battery boxes
with covers. Always make sure the battery is secured
and the cover is firmly attached.

cables, even if they were supplied with the battery; use
a lock nut instead.

understand the information supplied with it before you
begin installation.
The service life of your battery depends largely on how
it is maintained.
● Keep batteries and battery terminals dry and
clean. Oxidation or dirt on the battery and battery
terminals may cause short circuits, voltage drops,
and discharges (especially in damp weather).
● Tighten all battery connections. Loose battery
connections may cause damage to the engine’s
electrical system.
