10. Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance. Never attempt to dismantle the charger.
Repairs must be done by a technician or specialist repair centre. Unauthorized repair
work may damage the charger and void the warranty/product certification.
Clean the charger with soft, clean and lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning agents, as these may
damage the plastic housing and the labelling.
Dust can be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
11. Disposal
a) General information
This product must not be disposed of in household waste.
Dispose of the product in accordance with local laws (e.g. return it to a suitable
collection point).
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Rechargeable battery disposal
As the end user, you are required by law to return all used rechargeable batteries. They must
not be placed in household waste.
Rechargeable batteries that contain hazardous substances are labelled with this
symbol to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden.
The abbreviations for heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead.
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores
or battery retailers.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
