a) Mode 1
Mode 1 is a normal charging programme for 24 v batteries.
Charge end voltage: 28.8 v
Charging current
max. 12.5 A
Suitable for:
lead-acid/lead-gel/maintenance-free lead batteries with 25 - 250 Ah
Press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED 24 v (3) is illuminated.
The LED 24 v (3) is illuminated during charging and CHARGING (11) is shown in the display (15).
Press the DISPLAY button (14) to show the charging voltage vOLTAGE (13) or the charging current CURRENT (12).
When the display (15) shows CHARGING (11) 100 (%) as charging status, the charging process is complete and
the charger switches to conservation charging.
Mode 1 together with the snowflake symbol (16) is a charging programme for 24 v batteries in a cold environment or
a charging programme especially for 24 v AGM batteries.
Charge end voltage: 29.4 v
Charging current:
max. 12.5 A
Suitable for:
lead-acid/lead-gel/maintenance-free lead batteries/AGM batteries with 25 - 250 Ah
The thermal sensor at the device detects cold ambient temperatures and selects this charging mode automatically.
For charging of AGM batteries in normal ambient temperatures, press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED
24 v (3) is illuminated together with the snowflake symbol (16).
The displays at the charger are the same as in the normal charging programme for mode 1. However, the snowflake
symbol (16) is illuminated additionally.
b) Mode 2
Mode 2 is a special charging programme to reactivate totally discharged 24 v batteries.
Charge end voltage: 32 v
Charging current:
max. 1.5 A
Suitable for:
lead-acid/lead-gel/maintenance-free lead batteries with 25 - 250 Ah
Press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED BOOST 24 v (4) is illuminated.
Depending on the battery charge condition, reactivating the battery takes no more than two hours. During this time,
the LED BOOST 24 v (4) is illuminated and BOS is shown in the display (15).
When reactivation is complete, the charger switches to mode 1 and continues to charge the battery as described
there.
