OPERATION
Always turn off the desired device before connecting it to the USB port.
Make sure the connection is correct. If the product is not connected properly,
it could overheat or cause an electric shock or fire.
Make sure that the device meets the product’s power requirements (see
technical data).
You can charge or operate two USB devices simultaneously using the product. How to
connect a single USB device is described below.
The output current is distributed to both USB connections. If a USB device with a
current consumption of 2000 mA is connected to one of the two USB connections, you
can only connect a USB device with a current consumption of max. 400 mA to the other
USB connection.
You may also connect a single USB device with a power consumption of 2400 mA to
the product. In this scenario, the other USB connection must remain unused.
1.
Connect the switched-off USB device to the product.
2.
Plug the product into your vehicle‘s on-board voltage socket. The power indicator on the
product lights up to indicate the product is operational.
3.
Your USB device is now charging. Should you wish to operate the USB device, you may
turn it on now.
4. Turn off the USB device before you disconnect the product from your vehicle‘s on-board
voltage socket.
5.
Unplug the product from your vehicle‘s on-board voltage socket after use.
You can operate the product while the engine is both on or off. However, avoid starting
the engine while the product is connected as this cuts power to the voltage socket
briefly (this may not apply to all vehicle models). If the engine is switched off, drawing
current over a longer period of time will discharge the vehicle battery.
CLEANING
Disconnect the product from the on-board voltage socket before cleaning. Clean the product
with a dry, fiber-free cloth.
DISPOSAL
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
