Connect the ground clip to a conductive part of the vehicle body. 

 

Connect the plug to the disconnected socket on the battery management system. 

 

Lock the connection. 

 

 

Connect the plug to the diagnostic box. 

 

 

You can now perform measurements in accordance with the guided fault finding.
