System Connections
Axsys 12 uses pins +1 and -1 for its input.
Axsys 12 speakon connectors are wired in parallel, so either speakon can be used as the input.
The other speakon can be used as a link output.
A positive signal to the + pin gives a forward cone movement on the Axsys 12.
Notes
Axsys 12 has been optimised for near wall positioning, the low frequency response will not be as stated
if the enclosures are used further than 30 cm from a rear wall or ceiling.
Axsys 12 features a rotatable HF horn that allows the cabinet to be installed in either vertical or horizontal
positions. To change the dispersion first loosen the 4 screws that hold the grill in place. Remove the grill
and undo the screws holding the HF horn in place. Rotate the HF horn by 90 degrees and replace the
screws that hold it in place. Attach the grill and tighten the 4 screws that hold it in place.
The HF horn is factory aligned for horizontal cabinet positioning.
The Logo on Axsys 12 is spring loaded and rotatable. This allows the logo to be displayed upright when
the cabinet is used in either vertical or horizontal positions.
Precautions
Please consider the following precautions during use :
1. Install the Axsys 12 enclosure in a dry environment, do not expose the cabinet to rain or moisture.
2. When flying or mounting the Axsys 12 enclosure ensure safe working practices and follow the
recommended rigging guidelines.
3. The Axsys 12 enclosure contains very powerful magnets. Do not locate an enclosure near any
sensitive equipment such as; VDU monitors, TV's or high gain preamplifiers.
