How to replace Hardware components
Note: Depending on the used recorder hardware model, the following images may differ
2.1 Replacement of SSD
•
Open the front door of the recorder (e.g. COTS Model
RM4 / RM8
).
•
The slot with the defective SSD/HDD must be unlocked with the special key. The key was
delivered with the accessories of the recorder.
•
Press the lock and the latch will unlock
•
The slot with the SSD can be removed.
•
Remove slot with SSD / HDD and open the 4 screws
•
Remove SSD / HDD device and insert a new one.
•
Place the new storage device in the frame and screw it in place.
•
Take the frame and slide it back into the RAID cage.
•
Make sure the frame clicks into place and lock the slot again with the key.
