the air hose.

Excessive pressing
force.
Lubricate the chisel holder and reduce the pressing
force.
Tool no longer
slots into the
tool holder or
does not stay in
place in the tool
holder.
Tool or tool hold-
er knocked out of
place (usually due to
excessive operating
pressure or operat-
ing the device when
it is not in contact
with any material).
Check the tool for wear (see Chapter 3.4, “During
operation”).
The manufacturer or an authorized specialist work-
shop will need to carry out repairs.
Tool cannot
be inserted or
removed.
The clamping sleeve
on the tool holder
is being pushed all
the way back rather
than halfway when
the tool is inserted
or removed.
Only push the clamping sleeve on the tool holder
halfway back when inserting or removing the tool.
Dirt inside the
clamping sleeve is
preventing unlock-
ing.

The com-
pressed air
device operates
continuously
even though the
trigger lever is
