Connecting Headphones
You can connect headphones for private listening.
When headphones are connected, the main audio
out is disabled.
To connect headphones to the CARRY-OKE STAR:
1. Connect the 1/8” plug from headphones to
the 1/8” headphone jack.
SD Card
The CARRY-OKE STAR records to and plays from the inserted SD card. When it comes to organizing the files on your SD
card, we recommend the following two ways:
NO FOLDERS
Simply drag all the files to the root directory of the SD card. When the CARRY-OKE STAR boots up and locates the files, it
will automatically categorize the files by type: audio, video, photo.
NOTE:
MP3+G files will appear in the AUDIO group.
WITH FOLDERS
If using folders, create four folders with the following names: AUDIO, VIDEO, PICTURE, RECORD. Once created, transfer the
media files into the folders as follows below:
AUDIO - MP3 and MP3+G files
VIDEO - AVI and VOB files
PICTURE - JPG files
RECORD - Destination for recorded files only
(do not place other files in this folder)
.
If an SD card that has folders with different names other than Audio, Video, Picture and Record, is inserted into the
CARRY-OKE STAR, all the files may not display properly. If this happens, press the LEFT ARROW DIRECTION button
repeatedly to access all the remaining files of that type.
Before inserting an SD card, we recommend taking the following steps:
1. Format the SD card (using the format tool of your choice).
2. Open the root directory.
3. Create the following folders in the root directory: AUDIO, VIDEO, PICTURE, RECORD.
4. If you have files you want to access on the SD card, import them into the folders as described above.
