ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
SPEAKER CABLE (BLACK)
: Route this cable through the fire wall of your vehicle to attach it to the speaker
previously installed in the engine compartment.
MICROPHONE (MIC)
: To use the unit as a PA system, connect the microphone's cable plug to the control
box.
POWER CABLE (RED/BLACK)
: Connect the positive wire (Red) to a power source in the vehicle that only
gets power when the vehicle’s ignition is on. Recommended connection points are: windshield wiper motor,
blower motor or an accessory terminal on the fuse panel. Use a 3A fuse (not provided) on this connection for
circuit’s protection. Connect the negative wire (Black) to ground, any rust and paint free metal body bolt or the
negative (-) battery post.
OPERATION
To start using the electronic horn set the vehicle's ignition to the ON position.
ON-OFF / VOLUME
: Moving the LEFT KNOB to the right will turn on the control box, moving the KNOB to the
right will increase the volume, while moving it to the left will decrease it. To power off the unit move the KNOB
all the way to the left.
MODES
:
o
SIREN
: Using the RIGHT KNOB, select SIREN (1) position, with the MIDDLE KNOB select five
different siren sounds.
o
CAR HORN
: Using the RIGHT KNOB, select SIREN (2) position, with the MIDDLE KNOB select five
different horn sounds.
o
ANIMAL
: Using the RIGHT KNOB, select ANIMAL position, with the MIDDLE KNOB select five
different animal sounds (Rooster, Cat, Dog, Cow, Horse).
o
MIC
: This mode will allows you to broadcast your voice using the microphone. Make sure the
microphone cable is connected to the control box and the switch located on the microphone is moved
to the ON position.
