Fans

There are three fans in the RPTV. One fan, fastened to the top of the Lamp, exhausts warm air generated by the
Lamp portion of the optical engine through the Rear housing. The 2nd fan, which fastens to the top of the
perforated metal housing of power board to cooling power module and DMD module, 3

rd

Fan which fastens to the

CH top of the perforated metal housing of ballast board to cooling ballast module and lamp.

Operating system

Flash EEPROM device

The projector stores its start-up and operating software code in a flash EEPROM device located on the main
board ECA. The flash EEPROM contains the following types of code:



System code The system code contains instructions required for system initialization and operation. As the
projector initializes, the system code reads and verifies the integrity of other data stored in the EEPROM, such as
lamp timer data and user-entered menu settings.
