Video Capture Mode
The Video Capture Mode allows you to capture videos, recorded with audio, using your Vivitar®
digital camera.
When the camera is first powered on, the camera will be in Photo Capture Mode.
Press the
MODE
button once to access the Video Capture Mode.
Taking a Video
1)
Insert a compatible SD Memory card.
2)
Power on your camera.
3)
Press the
MODE
button once.
4)
While in Video Capture Mode use the LCD display on the back of the camera to direct the
camera at the scene you would like to capture.
5)
Press the
T/Zoom In
and
W/Zoom Out
buttons to better set the camera display if desired.
6)
Press the
Shutter
button on the top of the camera to START the video capture.
7)
A red, blinking icon appears at the top of the LCD indicating that the record is in progress.
The elapsed time appears on the bottom right corner of the LCD.
8)
To STOP the video record, press the
Shutter
button again.
9)
The video will automatically be saved to the SD memory card.
Note
:
“Insert an SD Memory Card” will appear on the LCD screen as soon as you enter the Video
mode if you have not inserted the SD Memory Card.
You can playback the AVI file by using Quick Time or Windows Media Player once it has been
downloaded to your computer.
Video Resolution
The Video Resolution allows you to choose the desired size of the images taken by your camera.
Keep in mind that ima
ges with a larger size will also take up more of your camera‟s memory.
To set the video resolution:
1)
Press the
Menu
/
OK
button.
