Photo Playback Mode
The Playback Mode allows you to review and edit photos and videos that you’ve already taken with
you camcorder.
When you first turn on the camcorder, the camcorder will be in Video Capture mode by default.
Press the
Playback
button to open the Playback Mode.
The captured images appear in Thumbnail view.
To quickly access the Delete menu while in Playback Mode, press the
DV
button.
To exit the Playback Mode and return to capture mode press the
Playback
button again.
Viewing Photos on Your Camcorder
1)
Select your Photo:
Once in Playback mode, all of your captured images are displayed on the LCD screen in
Thumbnail View. Videos appear with a video icon and photos do not have an icon.
Press the
UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT
buttons to scroll through the images.
Select the photo you would like to view and press the
OK
button to view the photo full screen.
When full screen, videos appear with a
‘
JPEG
’ icon on the top left of the LCD screen.
NOTE
: Once in full screen mode you can press the
LEFT
or
RIGHT
button
to scroll through
the images.
2)
Zooming In/Out of your selected Photo:
Press the
UP/Zoom In
button to Zoom In and magnify the selected photo.
Press the
DOWN/Zoom Out
button to Zoom Out of the selected photo.
Note
: Use the
UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT
direction buttons to navigate around the magnified
photo. Press the
Playback
button to return to viewing the photo without magnification.
Thumbnail View
Easily navigate and select the image you wish to view by using the Thumbnail View.
The images on your camcorder will be displayed in a 3 X 3 matrix where you can use the direction
buttons to scroll and select images from the thumbnails.
1) Press the
Playback
button.
2) All the images on your camcorder, both videos and photos, will appear in the Thumbnail View.
3) Press the
UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT
buttons to scroll and select the image you wish to view.
4) Press the
OK
button to enlarge the selected image full size.
5) Once the selected photo is full size, you can Zoom In or Zoom Out of the selected photo.
