6.6 Toasting frozen slices of bread
1. Follow steps 1-4 as described in the
Toasting
section.
2. Start the toasting process by pressing the carriage control lever (11)
downwards. The
Cancel
button (6) turns on.
3. Additionally, press the
Defrost
button (7; Figure 4). The
Defrost
button
(7) turns on.
6.7 Warm toasted slices of bread
1. Follow steps 1-3 as described in the
Toasting
section.
2. Start the toasting process by pressing the carriage control lever (11)
downwards. The
Cancel
button (6) turns on.
3. Additionally, press the
Keep-warm
button (8; Figure 5). The
Keep-warm
button (8) turns on.
4. Never preheat bread which is buttered etc...
Note
The browning level settings have no effect on the keep-warm function.
Note
When a slice of bread is caught in the toaster:
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and allow the appliance to cool completely.
2. Only then remove the jammed slice of bread from the toaster.
3. To do this, never use a metal utensil and avoid any contact with the inner metal parts
of the toaster.
