2. Important safety instructions
2. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains, if it is left unattended,
before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
3. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards or serious
injuries.
4. Switch off the product and disconnect from supply before changing
accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
5. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying
the bowl and during cleaning.
6. Be careful when placing hot liquids into the appliance and processing,
as sudden hot steam can escape.
2.3 Mains connection
1. Ensure that the mains voltage matches the specification on the
appliance’s rating plate.
2. Make sure that the plug is always accessible and easy to reach. The
plug acts as a separator from the mains. Only the plug can completely
separate the appliance from the mains.
3. Avoid damaging the power cord by squashing, bending or contact
with sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames.
4. Ensure that the appliance cannot be pulled down by its power cord.
Place the power cord, so nobody can trip over it.
5. Pull the plug when the appliance is not in use, during thunderstorms,
in case of malfunctions and prior to each cleaning.
6. Pull the plug itself to disconnect the appliance from mains supply. Do
not pull on the power cord.
7. In case of malfunction, due to electrostatic discharge or electrical
point effect, disconnect the device from the mains. Wait a moment
and insert the power plug back into the outlet. Turn the unit on again
in order to return to normal operating condition.
