Thermostat Quick Reference
Temporary and Permanent Hold Feature
Filter Change Reminder
If your HVAC contractor has configured the thermostat to
remind you when the air filter needs to be changed, you will see
FILT
in the display when your air filter needs to be changed.
Resetting the filter change reminder
: When
FILT
reminder is
displayed, you should change your air filter and reset the reminder
by holding down the second button from the top left side of the
thermostat for 3 seconds.
To reset the reminder first enter the
filter change reminder setup by
pressing and holding down the
‘TIME’ + Hold/Run buttons at the same
time for 3 seconds. It first shows you
the hours of run time the reminder is
set at. Then press the ‘Time’ button
and it will show you the elapsed time
your fan has been running since the
last reset. At this point, press and
hold the Time and Hold/Run buttons
together for 3 seconds to reset elapsed
time and the reminder.
Note:
This is a programmable thermostat, and will always be
running a programmed schedule. However, it can be overidden with
a Temporary or Permanent Hold.
Temporary Hold
: With the system in Heat or Cool, anytime the set-at
temperature is changed with the + or - buttons, the thermostat will
enter a Temporary Hold. This will be indicated by “HOLD” flashing
below the set-at temperature and will remain in this hold until the
next programmed time period begins.
Permanent Hold
: To enter a Permananet Hold, press the Hold/Run
button while “HOLD” is flashing. The word “HOLD” will remain on
continuosly, indicating a Permanent Hold.
To Return to Running Schedule
: To manually exit this hold and
return to scheduled program, press Hold/Run button or cycle the
System Switch.
