SAFETY DIRECTIONS
1. This appliance can be used by children persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way understand the
hazards involved.
2. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
4. Children being supervised not to play with appliance.
5. This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and
only for the purpose it is made for. The device is suitable and
intended for measuring the weight of food.
6. This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
7. Failure to maintain the scale in a clean condition could lead to
damage of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the
appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation. Such
damages are not included in the warranty.
8. If your device will not be used for a long time, store the device in
a dry and dark place and remove the batteries.
9. Do not use the device for any purpose other than that for which
it was intended.
10. Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
11. Do not use other battery types in the Kitchen scale. Do not insert
batteries in the opposite polarity.
12. Replace used batteries with new ones when necessary.
13. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
14. If liquid from the battery spills on your skin or clothing,
immediately flush the area with plenty of clean water.
15. During extended periods of non

use, always remove the battery
from the battery compartment (approximately 3 months or more).
16. Do not use different types of batteries or mix new and used
batteries together.
