RECOMMENDED USE:

The hedge trimmer has both sides, 

suited for cutting hedges, bushes 

and shrubs quickly and easily.

This hedge trimmer is 

recommended for domestic

use only.

PARTICULAR SAFETY 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Always keep these instructions and 

familiarise yourself with the steps 

before use.

Using this hedge trimmer for other 

purposes may cause damage to the 

tool, and may cause a serious risk 

for the user.

To correctly use this hedge trimmer, 

follow the recommended use, 

safety instructions, maintenance 

instructions and instructions for 

replacing spare parts.

Always verify all the protection 

devices are installed properly 

before using the tool.

Don’t use the hedge trimmer when 

it’s raining, or to cut wet hedges.

Always verify there is no damage to 

cables and connections before use.

Never use the tool if the cable is 

damaged. If the cable is damaged, 

it should be replaced by a qualified 

technician.

Always handle the hedge trimmer 

with the two hands.

Before using the hedge trimmer, 

clean the working area and remove 

everything which could be grabbed 

and thrown by the blade.

Make certain that you are in a safe 

and stable position when using the 

machine, particularly when stepping 

on a stepladder or ladder.

Dress correctly and use protection 

equipments.

The cable may be hidden in shrubs 

and be accidentally crossed by the 

blade. Keep the power cable away 

from the cutting area. 

Always transport the hedge trimmer 

with its blade protector.

Keep away from children.

Never try to use an incomplete 

tool or a tool which has had an 

unauthorized modification.

Check the blades regularly.

Do not use if they are damaged.

Do not touch the teeth of cutting 

blade as they are sharp. 

Make sure that the switch is OFF 

before removing the jammed 

materials. 

Carry the hedge trimmers by the 

handle only.

Unplug from the mains immediately 

if the cable is damaged or cut.

USING YOUR DEVICE

FIRST USE

Check the trimmer before use. 

If the product seems to be incorrect, 

or if elements are broken or missing 

compared to the description above, 

return it to the store.

Install the protective acrylic. Tighten 

the two side screws. 

TO OPERATE

Connect the hedge trimmer to a 

230 V ~ 50 Hz mains.

Press both the switch on the front 

handle and switch on the rear handle. 

Releasing one or both switches will 

stop cutting immediately.

TO CORRECTLY USE YOUR 

HEDGE TRIMMER

Cut the small bushes using a 

mowing movement.

Cut the hard hedges with a top to 

bottom movement.

Some branches may be too thick for 

the hedge trimmer. 

Cut these branches with a saw or 

branch cutter.

The sides of the hedges must be cut 

with ‘up’ and ‘down’ movement.

TO CUT AT EQUAL HEIGHT

Tighten a guide rope to the desired 

height.

Hold your hedge trimmer tilted 

(of a maximum angle of 15° 

compared to the line of cut)

Cut regularly above the guide rope.

Always stand in a safe and stable 

position.
