to keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature.
–
Unpack the juice extractor completely and
remove any advertising stickers that can
prevent the unit operation.
–
Check the unit for damages; do not use a
damaged unit.
–
Before switching the unit on, make sure
that your home mains voltage corresponds
to the unit operating voltage.
–
Wash the juice bowl (6), the cone (2, 3), the
separator (4), and the dustproof lid (1) with
warm water and neutral detergent, rinse
them and dry out.
–
Clean the motor unit (7) with a soft, slightly
damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
–
Never immerse the motor unit (7) into water
or any other liquids.
ASSEMBLY
–
Place the motor unit (7) on a dry flat sur-
face.
–
Place the motor unit (7) on the driving
shaft (5) and the juice bowl (6).
–
Install the separator (4) into the bowl (6).
–
Install the cone (3) on the driving shaft (5),
for extracting juice from larger citrus fruit
install the cone (2) on the cone (3).
USING THE JUICE EXTRACTOR
Operation time
The maximal allowable continuous oper-
ation time should not exceed 15 sec-
onds with an obligatory pause of no less
than 15 seconds. The maximal number
of operating cycles is 10. After 10 oper-
ation cycles let the unit cool down for
30 minutes.
Cone (3, 2)
–
Use the small cone (3) with scrapers to
extract juice from smaller citrus fruit (such
as lemons or limes). The scrapers pre-
vent accumulation of pulp in the separa-
tor grid (4).
–
Use the large cone (2) to extract juice from
larger citrus fruit (such as grapefruits or
oranges). Install the large cone over the
small cone.
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
–
Wash and cut the citrus fruit in two halves.
Press a half of the citrus fruit against the
cone (3 or 2) to switch the electric motor
on. Move the half of the citrus fruit in differ-
ent directions relative to the cone (3 or 2).
–
As the cone (3 or 2) rotates, juice is
extracted from the citrus fruit, it passes
through the separator grid (4) and is gath-
ered in the juice bowl (6).
–
After extracting juice detach the bowl (6)
and pour the juice out of it.
Note: - the upper part of the separator (4)
contains controls for increasing and decreas-
ing the size of orifices in the separator (4)
increasing or decreasing the amount of pulp
in the produced juice.
–
Unplug the unit after operation.
Note: - during the juice extractor operation
the cone (3 or 2) can rotate both clockwise
and counterclockwise.
Tips for juice consumption and storage
•
Fresh juices contain important vitamins and
minerals, which oxidize if subjected to long
contact with oxygen and exposed to light
that is why you should drink juices right
after their preparation.
•
Use porcelain or glass dishware to store
juices.
CLEANING AND CARE
•
Disconnect the unit from the mains.
•
Wash the juice bowl (6), the cone (3 or 2),
the separator (4), and the dustproof lid (1)
with warm water and neutral detergent,
rinse them and dry out.
•
Do not put the removable parts of the juice
extractor in a dishwashing machine.
•
We recommend washing the removable
parts of the juice extractor right after using
it, since it is difficult to remove dry pulp,
and it may cause spots on plastic parts of
the juice extractor.
•
Clean the motor unit (7) with a slightly
damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
•
Do not use solvents, abrasives or hard
brushes for cleaning the juice extractor.
STORAGE
–
Clean the unit.
