SELECT MODE
Press MOD button (5) to choose radio or CD mode. (When CD is in the unit)
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
During CD mode, the LCD (16) can show the current CD work state of the unit. During radio mode, it can
show the current radio frequency.
RESET
Press RESET button (17) to re2initialize the unit in case abnormalities or malfunction is observed. When
reset is activated, all preset station/program will be cleared. Reset button can be reached by any pointed
material.
PULL.OUT HANDLE
In case of taking away the unit from car, lift up the handle (22) to pull out the unit.
RADIO OPERATION
SELECT BAND
Press BAND button (7) to change bands as below:
FM > AM
SELECT STATION
Rotate the TUN knob (8) clockwise or anti2clockwise to choose the desired frequency.
SELECT LOCAL/DISTANT
Press LOC/DX button (9) to select between local setting for reception of strong station and distant set2
ting for reception of weak stations when tuning. This function operates in FM band only.
SELECT MONO/STEREO
In radio operation, press MON button (20) to select mono or stereo reception for FM radio stations. You
can sometimes improve reception of distant stations by selecting mono operation.
CD OPERATION
DISC PLAY
Gently insert a compact disc with the label side facing up into the disc slot (2). The disc is then automat2
ically loaded into the unit and starts playing with the first track of the disc. The digital display will indicate
the track number and the time of the track.
EJECT
Press

(eject) button (12) to stop CD play and eject CD from the slot. Receiver switches to radio oper2
ation.
SKIP TRACKS
Press TRK +

button (15) or TRK 2

button (14) to choose the following track or the previous track.
Track numbers show on the display.
