remove  the  batteries  if  you  are 
not planning to use the radio for 
a long time.

• 

Before  connecting  the  radio 
to  the  mains,  make  sure  that 
your  home  mains  voltage  cor-
responds  to  the  unit  operating 
voltage.  If  the  unit  is  equipped 
with  the  voltage  selector  (12) 
make  sure  that  it  is  set  to  the 
voltage  corresponding  to  your 
region.

• 

Insert  the  power  plug  into  the 
mains  socket.  The  batteries 
installed in the battery compart-
ment will be switched off.

• 

Switch  the  radio  on  by  turn-
ing  the  volume  control  (2) 
«VOLUME/OFF» down until click-
ing,  the  indicator  (5)  «POWER» 
will light up. 

• 

Select  the  desired  range  with 
the band switch «FM/AM».

• 

Tune  to  the  desired  radio  sta-
tion  using  the  tuning  knob 
«TUNING».

• 

To set the desired volume level, 
use  the  volume  control  (2) 
«VOLUME/OFF».

Notes: 

– 

for better reception in FM range 
extend  antenna  (8)  completely 
and  place  it  under  the  desired 
angle;

– 

the  built-in  antenna  receives 
signal  in  AM  range;  for  better 
reception  in  AM  range  try  to 
place the radio horizontally and 

direct it to the transmitting radio 
station.

• 

After  you  finish  listening  switch 
the  unit  off  by  turning  the  vol-
ume control (2) «VOLUME/OFF» 
upwards until clicking.

EARPHONES CONNECTION

To listen to the radio via earphones 
(not included) connect them to the 
jack (3) «PHONE». Set the desired 
volume level using the volume but-
ton (2) «VOLUME/OFF». When con-
necting  the  earphones  the  radio 
speaker  will  be  switched  off  auto-
matically.

ATTENTION!  Do  not  set  high  vol-
ume  while  using  the  earphones. 
To  prevent  impairment  of  hear-
ing  when  listening  to  the  radio  via 
the earphones do not set too high 
volume,  the  experts  advise  not  to 
listen to the radio at a high volume 
for a long time.

 

Line output jack «LINE IN» (11)

You can connect an external audio 
device, such as CD or MP3 player, 
via a line output jack (11).

CLEANING AND CARE

• 

Clean the radio body with a soft, 
slightly  damp  cloth  and  then 
wipe it dry.

• 

Never use abrasives or solvents.

• 

Do not immerse the power cord, 
the power plug or the radio itself 
into water or other liquids.
