INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR HAIR DRYER
SAFETY HINTS
•
The appliance may only be operated on an electricity supply which cor
responds to the voltage and type of current specified on the housing
(rating plate).
CAUTION: This hair dryer is not to be used close the bath
tubs, washbasin, or other containers holding water.
Danger can arise even when the hair dryer is switched off,
which is why the plug must be pulled out of the socket
after it has been used and before it is cleaned. Never pull
the plug out of the socket by tugging on the lead!
•
The installation in the electrical circuit of the house of a short@circuit
protection device with a nominal trigger current of not more than 30
mA will provide additional protection. Please consult your local elec@
trician.
•
If, however, the appliance should fall into water, pull the power plug out
of the power socket immediately!
@ Never place your hand in the water!
@ Have your appliance checked by a qualified electrician before using it
again.
•
Do not direct aerosols or water sprays into your appliance!
•
Ensure that your appliance does not get wet (water splashing, etc.)
and do not use it with wet hands. If you put your appliance down
whilst drying your hair, always switch it off as a precaution. The air
outlet grille will inevitably become hot during use.
•
Do not allow the flex to come into contact with the air outlet during use.
•
When drying your hair in rollers, do not allow any clips, hairpins, etc. to
project more than 10 mm (finger width) so as to ensure that they can
not come into contact with the live parts inside the appliance.
•
Children do not realise the dangers arising from improper use of elec
trical appliances. Children should not therefore be allowed to use a
HAIRDRYER without supervision. Please read these operating instruc
tions carefully and explain all necessary precautions to your children.
