Zixi point-to-point streaming with MGW ACE Encoder
Zixi Point-to-point license is included when MGW Ace Decoder is used in conjunction with VITEC encoders.
To start using point-to-point Zixi streaming between MGW Ace Decoder and MGW ACE encoder:
Verify that MGW ACE and Ace Decoder can communicate (gateways are properly
configured).
Set Zixi as the protocol on both MGW Ace Decoder and MGW ACE encoder.
Set the MGW ACE encoder
Target Address
by entering MGW Ace Decoder system
IP address (Zixi is unicast address only).
Set the same target port on both MGW Ace Decoder and MGW ACE encoder.
Start the MGW Ace Decoder by clicking

For Pro-MPEG channel:
Parameter

Channel Name
(Optional)
Enter a Channel Name to differentiate channels within the
Channel list. Channel name is optional.
Ethernet Port
Select the Ethernet Port from which the channel is received.
Streaming Protocol
Select Pro-MPEG protocol.
IP Address
Type the channel IP address.
Port
Type the port number.
1-D Port Number
Type the
port number through where columns check sums
will be sent.
2-D Port Number
Type the
port number through where rows check sums will
be sent when 2-D mode is selected.
