q.  Do not leave the patient in the wheelchair (even with the brakes applied) on exits,

ramps, mid-floors, etc.

r.  In order to maintain the performance of the lift, it is extremely important to keep

all its elements clean. Storage of the elevator in very humid rooms (baths, laun-

dries, etc.) or in the open air, combined with poor hygiene, will result in a rapid

loss of the lift’s functional and aesthetic parameters.

s.  Do not operate the lift if there is any visible or perceptible damage, or wear on

any part of the lift which indicates a potential risk of accident (e.g., wear of run-

ning wheels, cracks, etc.). Refer all repairs to qualified personnel and, during the

warranty period, only to the manufacturer’s service department.

t.  When transporting (e.g. in a trunk), do not put any weight on the lift, it may affect

its structure.

u.  Keep out of reach of children under five years of age.

v.  Refer all repairs to qualified personnel of the distributor or manufacturer.

w. Use extreme caution when folding the lift, lack of attention may result in body

parts getting crushed by the folding parts.

WARNING: To avoid risk of electrical shock, the unit must be connected

to a power supply with protective grounding only.

WARNING: Any “serious incident” involving a device needs to be re-

ported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the EU

Member State in which the user or patient resides.

Maintenance operations

•  Charge the battery before use.

•  The battery should be recharged at least once a week or when discharged if this

occurs first.

•  Disinfect seat components after each use.

•  Use toilet cleaners as recommended by their manufacturer’s recommendations.

•  Clean the elevator frame with a damp cloth and the seat with mild detergents.

•  On an ongoing basis, remove dirt from the lift’s moving parts (wheels, bolts,

clamp locks).

•  In order to maintain the functional parameters of the product it is extremely im-

portant to keep all its elements clean and to adjust to the way of its storage.

•  Storage in rooms with very high humidity (baths, laundries, etc.) or in the open

air, combined with poor hygiene, will result in a rapid loss of performance and

aesthetics.
