CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the BabyFood Pro carefully after each use.
DO NOT PUT THE BASE UNIT (4), COVER (3), SILICONE
SEALING RING (9), BLADE LOCK RING (11) OR BLADES
(8) IN THE DISHWASHER – HAND WASH ONLY IN WARM
SOAPY WATER. If necessary, use a clean damp cloth to
clean the motor unit under the jug and blades.
CAUTION: The blades are sharp. Take care when handling.
• Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool
completely before cleaning. Wait a minimum of 15
minutes.
• Never immerse the base unit (4) in water.
• Only the following parts are top rack dishwasher safe;
bottle and food jar adaptor ring (1), bottle and food jar
warming basket (2), jug lid (6), jug (10), steaming basket
(7), spatula (12), measuring jug (13).
• Components may become discoloured when placed in the
dishwasher with foodstuff.
• Wash the blades with care, they are very sharp.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning products. Never pour
bleach or chemical sterilising solutions / tablets into the
appliance.
REMOVING WATER FROM THE TANK
ALLOW TO COOL FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE
ATTEMPTING TO EMPTY THE WATER TANK. To remove
the water from the steam tank, open the cover firstly
(see diagram 8a) to allow the water to cool down. Remove
the jug from the base, then slowly pour the water from
the tank.
DESCALING
• During use over time and depending on the quality of
your water, a limescale deposit may build up on the
bottom of the water tank (14).
• Clean the appliance regularly by pouring a mixture of
100ml of warm water and 100ml white vinegar into the
water tank.
• Leave the solution for no longer than 3 minutes before
emptying the water tank and wipe it with a clean damp
cloth.
• Fill the water tank with 220ml water and set the
appliance to the steam mode for 20 minutes, leaving
the jug empty of food. This is to ensure the appliance is
completely clean before using again to cook your baby’s
food.
• Do not use detergents, chemicals or abrasive cleaning
products.
DISPOSAL
In order to minimise hazards to health and the
environment and ensure that materials can be recycled,
this product should be disposed of at a separate collection
facility for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
