AcquaPhi™ designed to manage a single tap. It can be installed under the kitchen sink,
after the kitchen tap on the kitchen worktop or connected to the shower fixture in the
bathroom.
For homes with reduced water consumption can be evaluated the possibility of installing
AcquaPhi™ on the main water-line after the meter or the water pump.
Installation is quite simple, however we recommend to call on the services of
someone qualified in hydraulic installations.
AcquaPhi™ offers excellent protection against artificial electromagnetic fields however
it is important to install it at least 100 cm away from the meter or the main electric cables.
Strong electromagnetic fields may decrease the effectiveness of
AcquaPhi™ while normal
electrical cables, such as those that connect to electrical outlets, will not adversely affect
the operation of the device. For outdoor installations
AcquaPhi™ must be provided with
shelter (plastic, wood or stone) to protect it from weather and freezing water that could
cause the rupture of the hydraulic system inside.
AcquaPhi™
must not be used below 0° C surrounding temperature.
AcquaPhi™
must not be used with water more than 60°C.
AcquaPhi™
should not be exposed for long periods of time in direct sunlight.
Over time, UV rays can cause yellowing of the appliance’s external shell and
make it brittle. For proper functioning
AcquaPhi™
must not be installed inside
a metal cabinet since such a containment would act as a ‘Faraday cage.’
To guard against particulates (sand, gravel, etc..) in one’s water source it is
recommended to provide the protection offered by a simple mesh filter or
screen.
Locate a suitable, plain surface to host the pedestal of
AcquaPhi™
for the
installation. Falls sich im Wasser große Partikel wie Sand befinden, ist es ratsam,
einen Partikelfilter vorzuschalten.
