2 Introduction
10 Vista SmartDisc 10IP

Compact design, suitable for desk mounting, wall mounting, and
mounting in 19” mode
Device options and
upgrade options
SmartDisc 10IP is supplied with ten video inputs, each at up to real-time
speed:
■
Up to 10 IP cameras with simultaneous use of different models and
resolutions
■
Maximum of 8 analogue cameras with up to two HYBRID Card 4
expansion cards as upgrade option (each for 4 optional analogue video
inputs)
Functional units SmartDisc 10IP consists of the following functional units:
■
Device-internal video compression HTcompress (M-JPEG differential
image compression; with adjustable compression factor per analogue
camera) for images from analogue and IP cameras
■
Digital recording on integrated removable hard disk with adaptive multi
track management for up to 10 camera tracks
■
Digital transmission of live or stored images by IP or dial-up connection
■
Remote configuration and maintenance by IP and/or dial-up connection
■
Adaptive alarm management for control inputs and motion detection (only
for analogue video signals) for automatic dial-up and recording control
■
System and video signal monitoring
■
Camera and relay control
■
Timer control with calendar feature
■ Video multiplexer each with 4 video inputs with the HYBRID Card 4
expansion card (maximum 2 cards per device)
SmartDisc 10IP
options
All options for the SmartDisc 10IP can be conveniently integrated into your
SmartDisc 10IP unit or combined with your SmartDisc 10IP . All modules
and external adapters are ready for plug-in. Refer to chapter "System
description" for more information (see “Accessories” on page 11) .
